Life, Love, Death
Lives are vapor.
Coming and going,
Existing and disappearing.
They dwell for a while,
Then they move on.
For life is a temporary thing.
Love is a stone.
You trip over it,
And break with it.
It’s not a plaything,
Only a mature gift.
For it can cause harm to the young.
Death is a destination.
All are heading there;
No one can stop it.
It is unmerciful,
And will not spare anyone.
For eventually all are taken by it.
Don’t Believe In Anyone
Don’t believe in anyone,
For they will always lead you down.
Don’t confide in friends,
They might not be true.
Run from the eyes of the devil,
And find sanctuary within your mind.
The Mind Is Man’s Last Sanctuary
Cast Me Down
Cast me down, I say,
For I am not of good nature.
Cast me out, I cry,
For I am nothing but a shell.
Cast me forth to earth, I beg,
For you shall hurt me here.
I will not be an angel,
Nay, but I am a fiend.
